Cancellations

To find out if netball is cancelled, follow us on Facebook (username: Motu Kairangi Netball).

Play will not automatically be cancelled due to rain. A cancellation message will be posted on Facebook if we are going to cancel and we will provide as much notice as we can.

An assessment of the courts for the Year 7/8 games will be made by 8.30am. If there is no announcement, please assume netball is still on.

A decision for the Year 5/6 netball games may be made later in the morning and another message will be posted, if necessary.

It is MK Netball's goal to try and have our teams play if possible, and in Wellington we need to be mindful that the weather can change from one area to another, and from what is officially forecast.

Play will be cancelled if the Executive Committee deems the weather conditions to be too severe or court conditions unsafe for the players. We do not take into consideration the conditions for the spectators - it is purely for the well-being and safety of the players.
